Maybe because I'm not very tech oriented I found it difficult to set the time and date - in fact the date is still not right. Bought it for my 98 year old mom to monitor her O2 level. Works well, sometimes it doesn't like her finger placement and if it is in bright sunlight it won't read her levels but it will mine. Being older her skin is thinner and I think that has something to do with it. As long as she isn't in her favorite chair at high noon it works fine. It's a little bit larger than I needed as I can see numbers easily and it's not easily to take on trips but it's easy to use and I like that it stores 100 of your readings for comparison. Many other cuffs I have owned would fail with an error code if the cuff was not positioned exactly right and I would have to try multiple times to get a reading. I???ve used this item at the same time with blood pressure monitor and a smart watch to check if the heart rate read outs match on the three items.They do for the most part, but sometimes there is a deviation with this item.I don???t recommend using it as a gold standard method for measuring your heart rate, however if you want to have a general idea, approximate ballpark measurement. However my main issue with it (and there will be a degree of variance with any blood pressure measuring device) is that there is a little more degree of variability than I would generally like to see.
