First, I have only had the 500DL for a few days and I don???t have a way to directly evaluate it???s accuracy. I do find it simple to use and easy to read the display. As far as the accuracy goes, I plan to take it with me to my next doctors visit so I can compare the 500DL with the doc???s equipment. I bought this for my wife who has COVID19. We could not get a reading off her fingers. The instruction manual notes: "Nail polish can also impede the pulse oximeter from taking a reading." Now what? We desperately needed to know her blood oxygen level to know how much the virus was affecting lung function. Only solution - remove the nail polish.

The readings are consistent, but higher than at my Doctor's office at times. The readings are most likely correct since I take them at different times and I shouldn't expect them to be in the same range. I take 3 or 4 readings to be sure and record them daily. I would buy this again. The cuff gets very tight even if I fit it loosely.
